Things we know to be true

1. We hate Peeps (all shapes, colors, forms). Berlin & Finley were trading candy and they apparently both tried to trade their Pink Peeps with each other. I chuckled when I saw it because I hate the stupid things. I never liked them as a kid either. I always preferred the Chicks & Bunnies (the pink, yellow, purple candy that was like circus peanuts but better). But I didn't want my kids to feel like they were missing out. So I - I mean the Easter Bunny gave them some in case they liked them. But it's unanimous - they're disgusting! Thank heavens we'll never have to get them for Easter or all the other holidays that are now Peepified.

2. We love Ham. Especially when it's spiral cut with a honey glaze. I make one every Easter and the kids eat it up - yum! We love us some good pig.

3. Peach Jello Egg Jigglers are the BOMB!

actually, I've been thinking about this since I made that post. I like peeps but I LOVE those cadbury eggs so unless you post something about hating those, I think we can still be friends. ha! let's play this week!

The trick to let your peeps sit out for a week or two. Aged to perfection! Nobody can resist!

What are you talking about PEEPS are the best.....Even BETTER when you open the package and they get a little dried out!!! A Must!

sorry sis -> PEEPS ROCK !!
Chicks and Bunnies - not so much!!

But I have to agree that they are going a little overboard with having a peep version for every stinkin holiday now.

And Spiral Ham with Honey glaze - little slices of heaven!! On that we can agree.

I'm firmly in the peeps corner, but only after they have been allowed to get dried out for a couple of days, and only at Easter time. I will not buy them at any other holiday. AJ, on the other hand absolutely hates them. Therefore, they didn't get introduced to the boys this year.

Chicks and Bunnies on the other hand were consumed in mass quantities by all (mostly me, if I'm going to be perfectly honest), although I really wish that they would bring back the original pink, yellow and purple colors. I'm just not a fan of the orange, yellow and blue, but I will eat them anyway.

And yes, peach jello egg jigglers are the bomb...they've been a big hit with my kids (I used the egg molds for preschool last week and only Keegan ate his, and Camden helped out as well...none of the other kids liked them. Personally, I think they missed out).

Peeps have a bit of pop culture appeal, but the taste on the other hand leave a lot to be desired. I don't see the appeal of sugar coated corn syrup...even old sugar coated corn syrup?
