I'm so excited to see this movie! In regards to the Cecret Lake hike up in Albion Basin, it is about 3/4 mile up to the lake. We saw a lot of young families on our way up and down, so I bet Finn could do it. The only hard part is the elevation, so you have to stop and catch your breath more often when you are up that high. But you'll want to stop often for pictures anyway. It's beautiful! Also, the forest service provide a free shuttle up to the trailhead if you don't feel like driving your car up all the way.
